The Advertising Claims Board provides a competitive complaint resolution service.

It is designed to determine complaints involving issues of truth, accuracy and legality of advertising on a user pays cost recovery basis.

The Claims Board is comprised of variable panels of lawyers appointed from a register of lawyers who have certified to having experience and expertise in advertising and/or competition and consumer law.

Appointments to the Claims Board are made by the Bureau on a case-by-case basis, having regard to availability and any conflicts of interest.
