The female behind the bar is very impressed by this heroism and accepts an invitation for a date that night. The young man is then seen thanking his friends, including the fake octopus, because ‘she took the bait’and they continue to celebrate by drinking Pepsi Max opened by the fake octopus tentacle. End image shows the friends travelling in an open vehicle with octopus costume and caption: Max It! With can of Max It.

The jealous ‘Dad’ describes his rival as “fat boy Simon”, but is actually relieved that his wife has made the right choice by choosing him. The voiceover says “let the stories begin”, to emphasie the “storytelling” theme of this commercial.

The TVC opens on a mum a dad and their twin daughters getting ready for a family portrait in a photography studio. Mum is double checking that everyone looks neat and tidy and whilst she is doing so, she notices that there is a stain on her husband’s shirt. From here the TVC cuts to a shot of the Pink Presenter standing in front of a clock and next to a shot of the ruined family photo. From here a series of clock wipes take places showing the mum doing the laundry process (washing, drying and ironing the shirt). The point of this being to illustrate the time mum could have saved if she’d only used Vanish Napisan in the first place. The VO then says “this wouldn’t have happened if you’d added Vanish Napisan” and is accompanied with the visuals of mum adding a scoop of Vanish to her detergent in the wash. Mum is then shown pulling the now clean shirt out of the wash. The final cut is of mum hanging up the perfect Family Potrait on the wall with her husband’s shirt now stain free.

The TVC opens on two girls playing “dress up” in front of a mirror. One of the girls has dressed up in her mother’s blouse and both of the girls are wearing high heels which are too big for them. The girls begin to apply makeup to their faces. One of the girls picks up mascara and as she goes to apply it to her friends face she accidently wipes it across the blouse. Mum then enters and the girls turn round to show off their handy work. Mum immediately notices the stain. She is not angry with what the girls have done but is more concerned that her shirt may be ruined and that she may not be able to get the stain out. Suddenly the Pink Presenter enters and presents the new Vanish Napisan Liquid Gel. She pours some of it into the wash. A demo sequence follows and the Pink Presenter explains how the Vanish Liquid targets and seeks out tough stains. We then cut to a shot of the now clean shirt and the girls are a shocked that the stains have come out. The mum is also a little shocked at how just easily the stains have come out. Cut to the final shot of the mum and Pink Presenter standing together with the girl cheekily asking if she can use mum’s blusher next time considering just how easily the mascara stain came out.

Voiceover: “There are nine new Balfours pies to try, each with authentic premium quality ingredients like fresh coriander and creamy coconut”. Similarly, in the ‘Pizza pie’ commercial a customer rings to place an order for a Balfours Pizza Pie and is advised by the Italian restaurant owner that he has the wrong number. The caller, when trying to place the order again, asks “you are Bellucci’s, you do sell pizza"? The ownerbecomes agitated by the misunderstanding and questions whether the caller wants a pizza or pie with Voiceover: there are nine new Balfours pies to try, each with authentic quality ingredients including premium Australian angus beef”.
