Sue Smethurst is an award-winning journalist and best-selling author. She has written ten books and her work has been published in Australia and internationally. Sue is currently employed as Senior Media Adviser at Monash University and serves on the board of the Bairnsdale Regional Health Service. In addition to her media career, Sue has also previously served on the boards of the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear hospital and was the Chairman of regional tourism board Destination Gippsland. Throughout her career, Sue has achieved success across a diverse range of fields, from media to the retail and NFP sectors. She’s held high profile roles within Australian media – radio, television and magazines, and has built and successfully sold a premium Australian skincare brand.
