Sam Drummond has dedicated his life to amplifying the voices of people who are marginalised in our community.

He grew up in Central Victoria and moved to Melbourne to pursue studies in law and philosophy.

Sam has worked as a radio producer, political adviser and lawyer. He has written on disability rights and other topics for a range of publications, including contributions to Growing Up Disabled in Australia, Growing Up In Australia and We’ve Got This: stories by disabled parents, as well as his memoir ‘Broke’. 

He now spends his time working in discrimination and human rights law, writing, speaking and parenting.

Sam enjoys growing his native garden and his vinyl record collection. He lives in Melbourne’s north with his partner, daughter and their energetic black Labrador.
