Truc is a Consultant with a background in Chemical Engineering and Genetics, holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland. She is currently undertaking a Master of Philosophy, where her research focuses on ensuring an equitable transition to net zero.

As a first-generation Vietnamese Australian, Truc is a passionate learner and deeply committed to community engagement. Her strong interest in sustainability – particularly in the realm of sustainable aviation – drives her ambition to build a career in the renewables sector. She brings experience in renewable energy and decarbonization modelling, with a particular focus on the technical challenges of reducing emissions.

Truc is also a dedicated advocate for STEM, actively working to promote education and engagement – especially among women and girls. Her commitment to paying it forward is reflected in her ongoing support for university students through a range of mentoring programs.
