Vince del Gallego

Community Panel member

Appointed January 2026

Vince migrated from the Philippines in 1974 in pursuit of a better future. He built a long and varied career in the financial services sector, supported by formal studies in commerce and accounting. He broadened his experience with time in accounting and sales administration before returning to banking, where he progressed through management roles across several financial institutions.

Beyond his professional career, Vince has a strong passion for public service and community advocacy. He is deeply committed to ensuring that residents’ interests are represented independently and transparently, free from political self-interest and undue influence from special interest groups.

Vince co-founded the Cherrybrook Residents Association and served as its President. Building on this success, Vince sought to serve the community at a broader level by standing for local council as an independent candidate, where he was elected. At the council’s first meeting, he was voted in as Deputy Mayor, a position he held for two years.

Vince is currently self – employed as a Broker, Proprietor of Partnership Finance, specialising in lending solutions. He plans to retire in due course to dedicate more time to his ongoing interest in public service and political engagement, as well as spend quality time with his wife and grandchildren.
